Thanks for pointing out this essay.
I tried to pull up the article but as usual my computer expertise was nonexistent. Maybe I can find it at the library.
I intended to make Hangtown Fry for Jack again, but dragged my feet too long. It's one of my regrets.
I still have my copy of the Bull cookbook. and I have a Herter's shirt in the original package!
